I don’t need to be

I don’t need to exist in your world

To be seen through ur pupils

Or noticed by your gaze

Or acknowledge by your tongue

I don’t need your comfort

Or your sympathy and love

Or to know if I ever walk across your mind

And sometimes just take a seat there

I don’t need it.

I don’t need to be a memory or a dream

Or anything in between

A smile to your thoughts

Or an ache in your gut

A regret to your years

Or apart of your cares

I don’t need it.

I don’t need to be anything to you

I just need to be everything to me
